Morocco Drawn with Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Sudan in 2022 World Cup Qualifiers

Organized this Tuesday in Cairo by FIFA, the draw for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers has delivered its verdict. As far as Morocco is concerned, the Atlas Lions find themselves in Group I.
This draw was held in the presence of the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Ahmad Ahmad, as well as the presidents of the African federations of this same discipline.
The protégés of Vahid Halilhodzic will have to cross swords with the teams of Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan. In total, ten groups of four teams each have been formed. The teams ranked first in these groups will meet in home-and-away matches to be held from November 8 to 16, 2021, to qualify for the World Cup.
This draw was also attended by the Secretary General of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Tarek Najem and the coaches of about forty African selections qualified for the next round. Several African football stars also honored the ceremony with their presence.
