Morocco Dominates Tripadvisor’s Top African Tourist Attractions

The Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech occupies the first place in this ranking of the most attractive places in Africa, thanks to its distinctive blue walls and exotic plants. The Palais de la Bahia, also located in the ochre city and reflecting the beauty of Moroccan architecture, comes in second on this list. The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, with its retractable roof, beautiful tiles and impressive prayer hall, is ranked seventh.

Morocco also dominates the Top 10 of Tripadvisor’s "most beautiful" tourist experiences with a 3-day trip from Marrakech to Fez via the Merzouga desert, ranked second on this list. The specialized site recommends that travelers take a camel ride through the golden dunes, experience the magnificent sunrises and sunsets and stay in a luxury desert camp.

Tripadvisor also invites tourists to go hiking in the Atlas Mountains, valleys and three waterfalls, visit an argan oil cooperative, and enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine and traditional music and dance of the kingdom.
