Morocco Deploys New Mobile Speed Radars to Boost Road Safety

New mobile radars have been deployed on Moroccan roads, particularly in the north of the country. Their particularity is that they are mobile, making them more difficult to detect.
The National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) is deploying a brand new mobile radar to control speed on the roads in the northern region. This initiative is part of the 2023-2026 regional road safety action plan.
This mobile radar will travel the main road axes, both in the city and in the countryside, in all the prefectures and provinces of the region, NARSA said.
NARSA has informed the Prefect of Police of Tetouan of this new measure, which aims to strengthen road safety and prevent speeding-related accidents.
