Morocco Denies Rumors of 1,700 Dirham Government Aid Program

The Ministry of Economy and Finance has reacted to rumors that the government had planned to grant a financial aid of 1,700 dirhams to Moroccans as a form of support in these difficult times.
The ministry of Nadia Fettah Alaoui denies any connection with "a website bearing the name and logo of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and calling on citizens to register to benefit from this aid," stating that "the information is false and unfounded."
The ministry once again invites citizens to always refer to its official website, where all official decisions are communicated. While indicating that it reserves the right to file a complaint, it calls on citizens to be cautious in the face of these kinds of rumors stirred up by ill-intentioned people.
