Morocco Delivers Medical Aid to African Nations in COVID-19 Fight

Shipments of medical equipment from China and South Korea are being transported by Moroccan planes to several African countries, a few days after the announcement by King Mohammed VI to initiate a joint initiative in Africa.
Several countries on the African continent, including Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea, have begun to welcome Moroccan cargo planes, as part of the support for these countries in the various phases of managing the pandemic.
Dozens of tons of medical equipment dedicated to the fight against coronavirus have thus been shipped to these African countries, pending the extension of the operation to other nations.
Launched by the sovereign on April 13, the initiative, carried out in collaboration with the African Union, seems to have received a favorable response from foreign partners, including the UN and the OECD.
