Morocco Debates Economic Recovery Strategies in Post-COVID Era

The post-Covid-19 recovery was at the heart of a meeting between the head of government, Saâdeddine El Othmani and Moroccan experts and economists on Friday.
On this occasion, the participants emphasized the priorities and proposals to address the economic and social repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Department.
Speaking, the head of government recalled the situation in the kingdom, as well as the royal high guidelines contained in the Throne Speech, noting that King Mohammed VI had highlighted the health, economic and social difficulties, while highlighting the opportunities to be seized, continues the press release.
The sovereign also insisted on the collective responsibility to act, calling for the efforts of all Moroccans to be pooled in the higher interest of the nation and to meet the challenges, adds the same source.
The experts present at this meeting presented their proposals and visions to achieve the expected economic recovery, which received the approval of the head of government.
