Morocco’s Customs Chief Nabyl Lakhdar Promoted to Finance Ministry Secretary General

The government announced the appointment of Nabyl Lakhdar, former director general of the Customs Administration, to the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The engineer by training has been replaced at the ADII by Abdellatif Amrani, former head of the State Domains. These various appointments were announced during the Council of Government held on Thursday, according to government spokesman Mustapha Baitas.
Furthermore, Younès Idrissi Kaitouni has been confirmed as head of the DGI where he had been acting since last August.
