Moroccan Prime Minister Akhannouch Tests Positive for COVID-19, Continues Work Remotely

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, has contracted Covid-19, in an asymptomatic form, according to government spokesman Mustapha Baitas.
Confined since the end of last week, Akhannouch is following the treatment protocol at home, Baitas said, specifying that his state of health does not give cause for concern.
The Prime Minister will continue to hold his meetings by videoconference, and will resume his in-person activities after his recovery, he added.
In addition, the Prime Minister will not be able to attend the House of Advisors where he was to attend the monthly general policy session, which was scheduled for Tuesday, and focused on "social dialogue," Baitas said.
