Morocco’s Covid-19 Relief Fund Reaches 33.7 Billion Dirhams, Boosts Healthcare and Economy

The General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR) announced that the fund set up to help fight Covid-19 in Morocco has received numerous contributions estimated at 33.7 billion dirhams at the end of July.
The TGR, in its monthly bulletin of public finance statistics for the month of July, specified that the expenses, on the other hand, amount to 24.7 billion dirhams.
The various contributions have made it possible to "cover expenses for upgrading the medical system, support the national economy to cope with the shocks induced by this pandemic, preserve jobs and mitigate the social repercussions of the pandemic".
