Morocco’s COVID-19 Crisis Deepens: 743 in ICU as New Cases Surge Past 197,000

In just the last 24 hours, Morocco has recorded 46 deaths and 3,020 new coronavirus infections. The total number of positive cases now stands at 197,481.
These figures come from the Ministry of Health, which in its daily bulletin, specified that severe or critical cases are only increasing. Out of the 30,985 active cases, 743 cases are admitted to intensive care and critical care units, including 96 cases in the last 24 hours.
The total number of intubated cases is 41 and 431 cases are under non-invasive ventilation. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds dedicated to Covid-19 has reached 32.33%.
