Morocco courts US and UK film producers for future shoots
Moroccan studios and companies will take part on 14 and 15 October in Valladolid in a marketplace where producers and location scouts choose sites for future shoots. US and UK professionals will be particularly well represented.

Morocco is among the new additions to the sixth edition of the Shooting Locations Marketplace, Spanish magazine Cine & Tele reported in an article published on 1 October. Kasbah Films is on the list of participants.
Competition also comes down to costs
More than 1,500 meetings are scheduled across the marketplace, which will bring together professionals from 27 countries. Moroccan companies will be able to showcase their filming locations to those who decide where to set up a production.
Locations will not be the only selling point. Discussions will cover tax incentives, logistical constraints and solutions for keeping a shoot on track when geopolitics or the weather disrupt plans.
Michael Dreher of Kasbah Film in Morocco is also listed as a participant in a panel discussion on players in the audiovisual industry.
