Morocco Among 50 Countries Europeans May Visit Starting July 1, Officials Say

Morocco could be part of a "fifty or so" countries outside the Schengen area soon accessible to the French and other European travelers.
"The idea is to perhaps have a first list of about fifty countries that have brought the epidemic under control and for which we are not jeopardizing the health safety of the French and Europeans," said the French Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, on Friday to France 2.
This list will be "updated every 2 weeks". The countries of the American continent, particularly those in "its Latin part which includes countries for which the virus is currently circulating very actively, we think in particular of Brazil" will not be on this list.
According to the Union of Travel Companies (SETO), it is likely that Tunisia and Morocco will be present on this first list of destinations accessible to European tourists as of July 1st. As for the other destinations not present in the European list, the union recommends "postponing departures until July 31 inclusive".
