Morocco’s Coronavirus Cases Surpass 2,000 as Casablanca Region Leads Outbreak

Morocco now has 2,024 confirmed positive cases after the census on Wednesday of 136 new people tested positive for the coronavirus.
Among these 136 cases, nearly 114 were discovered in infection clusters, according to the Ministry of Health.
During the same day, a new death was recorded, bringing the number of people who died in Morocco to 127 against 229 cases of recovery.
The Casablanca-Settat region remains the epicenter of the epidemic in Morocco with 521 cases. It is followed by Marrakech-Safi (335) and Fès-Meknès (233).
