Morocco Confident in Stadium Readiness for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

Authoritative voices have emerged to refute rumors of delays in the maintenance and rehabilitation work on stadiums underway in Morocco, in the perspective of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup.
"Morocco has chosen to modernize these stadiums, although it has obtained the organization of the competition with its existing infrastructure and by surpassing its competitors, in order to offer an unprecedented organizational edition for the Africa Cup of Nations," say officials to the Kooora website.
They add: "The great challenge is to hand over the keys of these stadiums to CAF, as stipulated in the specifications, before the deadline. Morocco will succeed in this. It will offer 6 stadiums that will serve as a dress rehearsal for the 2030 World Cup, 24 training pitches, as well as very high-end hotel units. This edition of the CAN will be the most successful in the history of the tournament."
The officials also assured of the execution of the works. "Inspection commissions are regularly present on site and are satisfied with the progress of the work. Moreover, the pace of interventions and deep reforms, which have concerned the stands and structural supports, has intensified..."
They also stated that the work will be delivered on time: "These major works are now completed, with only minor maintenance and repair operations remaining, such as lawn treatment or tiling. There is no concern about meeting the organization deadlines."
