Morocco Condemns Israeli Military Operation in Jenin, Warns of Threat to Regional Peace

Morocco, through the voice of its Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, firmly condemned Tuesday the aggression of the Israeli forces against the city of Jenin in occupied territory.
During the 6th session of the Moroccan-Omani Joint Commission, the minister denounced these "Israeli attacks on Jenin," stating that they do not serve to establish a climate conducive to "constructive dialogue and peace."
Nasser Bourita highlighted the precarious situation which, according to him, "is very dangerous" and undermines efforts to preserve "the minimum of peace in the region."
Finally, the minister recalled the central place of the Palestinian issue in the concerns of the Arab peoples, recalling the existence of an "international consensus" on the need for a resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on the basis of a "two-state solution."
