Morocco’s Compensation Fund Spending Soars 147% Amid Economic Crisis

Expenditure related to the compensation fund has seen a sharp increase by the end of August 2022. A measure taken by the State to cushion the crisis.
In its recent monthly bulletin of public finance statistics (BMSFP), the General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR) indicates that expenditure related to the Compensation Fund reached 22.24 billion dirhams at the end of August 2022, an increase of 147% compared to the same period a year earlier, reports the daily Les Inspirations Éco. These emissions represent an achievement rate of 67% of the total planned by the 2022 Finance Act (33.02 billion dirhams).
