Morocco Coach Regragui Reveals Key Advice to El Haddadi: Leave Sevilla for World Cup Chance

FC Seville would have wanted to keep Munir El Haddadi, but he ended up leaving this club for another in La Liga, Getafe, where he is already making a good impression. This departure ensures him a call-up to the World Cup in Qatar.
In an interview with Radio Mars, Walid Regragui, the Moroccan coach, said that Munir El Haddadi has a good chance of being called up for the 2022 World Cup which starts on November 18 in Qatar. According to the coach, the former Seville striker now has a chance to participate in the world competition because he has precisely left this club.
"They didn’t want to let him go, but I told him he had to do it," he confides. And to add: "I told him that if he didn’t leave and didn’t play, he wouldn’t participate in the World Cup. He went to Getafe and in a week, he was already playing."
Munir should therefore play the World Cup alongside his compatriots playing for Seville, goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and striker Youssef En-Nesyri who is going through a bad patch.
