Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Praises Sevilla’s Trio of Atlas Lions

A few days after publishing his list of players selected for the preparation camp in preparation for the friendly matches, Vahid Halilhodzic also commented on the situation of his protégés who play in Seville, a city he has fond memories of.
The news of the Moroccan internationals Yassine Bounou, Munir El Haddadi and Youssef En-Nesyri, all playing for Sevilla FC, was discussed by Moroccan coach Vahid Hallilhodzic, reports ABC.
According to the Bosnian coach, he was on vacation in Seville, a beautiful city that he loves: "Now, with three Atlas Lions in Seville, I have to go back there (laughs). I don’t think there are many national teams that have three players in the same club," he said.
Given the large contingent of Atlas Lions within the Andalusian club, he felt that international football fans will be able to take a much greater interest in Sevilla FC matches in the coming years. "I am more and more convinced that there will be a special affection for Seville from now on." He also commented on the case of Munir El Haddadi, who chose Morocco as his sporting nationality over Spain, with whom he had played ten minutes in 2014. "We may not be able to count on him for these matches (given the administrative aspect, editor’s note). If he is with us in what follows, it will be something very important," noted Vahid Halilhodzic.
As for the performance of Youssef En-Nesyri in the UEFA Super Cup final on September 24, the Franco-Bosnian coach mentioned the goal scored by the Moroccan player against Levante (on October 3). In his opinion, this goal is a perfect example of what he is worth. "Youssef has always had a goal, since he was a child. I know him well and I know he is capable of doing very important things. It should be remembered that he is only 23 years old. I am convinced that he will continue to score many goals."
