Morocco Closes Public Offices for Two-Day Eid Al-Adha Holiday

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, administrations, public institutions and local authorities will be closed on July 21 and 22, announced the Department of Public Administration Reform.
As announced a few days ago, Morocco will celebrate Eid Al-Adha on Wednesday, July 21 and to allow all employees to fully experience this celebration, the Department of Public Administration Reform has announced that administrations, public institutions and local authorities will be closed on July 21 and 22.
These public holidays are set by decree 169-77-2 of February 28, 1977. Work will resume on July 23, the ministry said in a statement.
Morocco announced on Thursday the ban on the Eid al-Adha prayer in mosques to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
