Morocco Calls on Global Diaspora Entrepreneurs to Join National Innovation Drive

On the sidelines of the 16th edition of the Entrepreneurship Day, organized by the 25-year-old association "Maroc Entrepreneurs" at the Palais d’Iéna in Paris, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, says she is convinced that "by mobilizing our talents, multiplying synergies and strengthening international partnerships, we are building together a more competitive, more innovative and more open Morocco to the world."

On this occasion, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni invited Moroccan entrepreneurs around the world to join "the momentum of dynamism and transformation" that Morocco is experiencing. To convince them, she highlighted the commitment of King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan government to entrepreneurship and digital technology. "The kingdom stands out for its commitment to entrepreneurship and digital technology, a commitment constantly nourished by the orientations" of the sovereign that guide the government’s action, reinforced by "a stable political environment and clear governance, offering investors the necessary confidence and visibility," said the minister.

The 16th Entrepreneurship Day is focused on the theme: "Morocco: Land of Investment and Entrepreneurship." For Seghrouchni, this theme "reflects the common ambition to strengthen the links between Moroccan skills internationally and the national economic ecosystem." Moreover, "this edition perfectly illustrates the spirit of innovation and cooperation that animates our country. It is also a powerful reminder of Morocco’s immense potential as a land of investment and entrepreneurship," she said. If there is one thing she is convinced of, it is that "by mobilizing our talents, multiplying synergies and strengthening international partnerships, we are building together a more competitive, more innovative and more open Morocco to the world."

To recall, the Moroccan government has included in its 2021-2026 program a series of measures and strategies aimed at supporting innovation and facilitating access to financing for startups in particular and for entrepreneurship in the digital sector in general.
