Morocco Boosts Tourism Promotion on TripAdvisor, Targeting US and Israeli Markets

In its reconquest strategy, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is multiplying partnerships to boost the Morocco destination. An agreement to this effect has been signed with TripAdvisor.
The partnership aims to restore Morocco’s market share among the most recommended Mediterranean destinations on this major global travel recommendation platform, according to a statement from the office.
Through this agreement, the ONMT is strengthening the promotion of Morocco’s various destinations and experiences to 500 million travelers in 49 international markets, with a focus on the American and Israeli markets, it is specified.
TripAdvisor will thus reinforce the presence of the Morocco brand in its ecosystem through high-impact native placements and social advertising units designed to stimulate traveler engagement in these target markets.
For Adel El Fakir, "the main objective of the partnership with Tripadvisor is to generate revenue for Moroccan tourism operators, and to have greater visibility on priority strategic markets, namely the American and Israeli markets."
