Morocco Boosts Border Security to Curb Illegal Migration into Spanish Enclaves

To avoid the assaults of illegal migrants, the Moroccan authorities have decided to significantly strengthen surveillance.
Sources cited by the EFE agency say that Morocco has significantly increased surveillance means at the border with Ceuta to "avoid the entry of sub-Saharan migrants" and assaults on the barriers.
Fixed posts have thus been installed along the 8 kilometers of this land border separating Morocco from the autonomous city of Ceuta. These posts aim to limit the assaults of sub-Saharan migrants who hide in the surrounding hills.
The last assault of migrants dates back to last August, recalls EFE, and since then, the undocumented migrants have approached the land border to try to access Ceuta.
