Morocco Boosts Artillery with $150 Million Elbit Systems Contract for Advanced Rocket Launchers

Morocco would have ordered multiple rocket launchers and long-range PULS (Precise and Universal Launching Systems) missiles from the Israeli Elbit Systems, an international high-tech company engaged in a wide range of defense, homeland security and commercial programs worldwide. This will help develop its artillery further.
A $150 million contract has been won by the Israeli company Elbit Systems to provide PULS (Precise and Universal Launching Systems) rocket launchers and a set of long-range rockets over a three-year period. "We are seeing growing demand for our advanced artillery solutions from armies seeking to enhance the effectiveness of their armed forces. This contract reflects the additional trust placed in Elbit Systems’ PULS rocket artillery solutions," said Yehuda Vered, General Manager of Elbit Systems’ Land Division, in a press release.

Developed by Elbit Systems, the PULS system offers a complete and cost-effective solution capable of launching unguided rockets, precision-guided munitions and missiles with an effective range of up to 300 km. Its design is unique. The PULS can also support future growth capabilities, such as the ability to launch surveillance munitions, including the SkyStriker surveillance munition launch configuration from Elbit Systems.
The PULS launcher is fully adaptable to existing wheeled and tracked platforms, significantly reducing maintenance and training costs, Elbit Systems says.
