Morocco Bolsters Defense Near Spanish Enclaves with Electronic Warfare Units

Morocco plans to deploy army units specialized in electronic warfare systems in areas near Ceuta and Melilla. The objective is to strengthen defensive capabilities against possible attacks.
"The deployment of these units is planned in northern Morocco, in strategic areas near Melilla, Ceuta and Al Hoceima. This measure strengthens the country’s defensive position," said sources close to the file to La Razón.
Already deployed in the Moroccan Sahara, these battalions specialized in electronic warfare systems use advanced systems to jam and neutralize enemy capabilities, whether in the field of communications, radars or various defense systems.
These specialized units are equipped with cutting-edge technologies dedicated exclusively to this type of military operations. With these advanced systems, the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR) can disrupt or even weaken the operational capabilities of the enemy, it is assured.
"With this initiative, Morocco continues to progress in the modernization of its armed forces, to consolidate its position in the field of electronic warfare and to ensure greater security on its territory," affirm the same sources.
