Morocco Appoints Six New Regional Investment Center Directors

Six new directors have been appointed to head the Regional Investment Centers (CRI) at the government council on Thursday, November 14.
In a press release, the Prime Minister’s Office announced the appointment of the six new directors, in application of Article 92 of the Constitution.
Thus, Marouane Abdelaâti was appointed to head the CRI of Souss-Massa, Mohamed Sabiri, for that of the Oriental, Yassine Tazi, for Fès-Meknès, Mohamed Amine Bekkali, in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Mounir Houawri, for the CRI of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and, finally, Allal El Baz, for the CRI of Draâ-Tafilalet.
This makes nine directors appointed. The last three will certainly be appointed at the next government council in order to allow the reform related to the Regional Investment Centers to enter its implementation phase.
As published in the official journal, the CRIs are invested with a priority mission: to become the focal points of the economy at the regional level.
