Morocco Announces Squad for World Cup Qualifiers, Includes Four New Call-ups
The national coach, Walid Regragui, communicated this Friday the list of players selected for the matches against Niger and Tanzania. These matches, counting towards the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, will take place on March 17 and 24 at the Oujda Honor Stadium.
The announcement was made at the Mohammed VI Complex in Salé. The list presents several novelties, with the first call-ups of Omar El Hilali (Espanyol Barcelona), Bilal Nadir (Olympique de Marseille), Chamseddine Talbi (Club Bruges) and Hamza Igamane (Rangers).
Jawad El Yamiq and Mehdi Benabid are making their return to the group.
On the other hand, striker Ayoub El Kaabi is absent from this list due to injury, as is Hakim Ziyech.

• Defenders: Nayef Aguerd, Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, Abdel Abqar, Jamal Harkass, Jawad El Yamiq, Omar El Hilali, Adam Aznou
• Midfielders: Sofyan Amrabat, Bilal El Khannouss, Ismael Saibari, Oussama Targhalline, Azzedine Ounahi, Bilal Nadir
• Forwards: Youssef En-Nesyri, Brahim Diaz, Soufiane Rahimi, Chemsdine Talbi, Hamza Igamane, Abde Ezzalzouli, Amine Adli, Osame Sahraoui, Eliesse Ben Seghir.
