Morocco and Turkey Explore Expanded Military Technology Cooperation

Rabat and Ankara are paving the way for strengthening their military cooperation. A delegation from the Turkish company "Aselsan", led by Erhan Olgun, Director of the Middle East and Africa region, was in Morocco as part of a strategic visit.
On arrival, the Turkish delegation was received by the Turkish ambassador to the kingdom. Together, they discussed opportunities for collaboration in the fields of defense and military technologies. The Turkish delegation also met with Moroccan officials. The discussions focused on the potential for future cooperation in the development of defense systems, but also on the exchange of expertise in the fields of information technology and cybersecurity. This strategic visit is part of the strengthening of military cooperation between Morocco and Turkey.

Since its creation in 1975, it has excelled in research and development to provide advanced defense equipment and systems to meet the needs of the Turkish armed forces in the land, maritime and air sectors. Aselsan is among the top 50 defense companies worldwide and plays a leading role in the development and manufacture of defense systems supporting the Turkish armed forces, it is specified.
