Since the normalization of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel, military cooperation between the two countries has continued to strengthen. In a message on FAR-Maroc, a website specialized in Defense issues, it is learned that Rabat and Tel Aviv plan to conduct joint military air exercises. The two parties are said to have signed an agreement to this effect on the sidelines of the historic visit of the Israeli Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi, to Morocco. This agreement aims to consolidate the regional leadership of the Royal Air Force. They will be able to benefit from the Israeli pilot experience in this area, as the Israeli army is the leading military power in the Middle East.
The Chief of the Israeli Army, Aviv Kochavi, arrived in Rabat on Monday, July 18 for an official three-day visit. On Tuesday, he was received by Army Corps General El Farouk Belkhir at the base of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Rabat. He is also expected to meet with other military and security officials.
