The Moroccan frigate Allah Ben Abdellah is currently in France to participate in a joint naval exercise with its French counterpart La Fayette Surcouf.
Named CHEBEC22, these Franco-Moroccan naval maneuvers are organized in order to advance the interoperability of the crews and the cooperation between the two navies in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, tweeted the French Navy.
The exercise is mainly aimed at "maintaining the ability to operate jointly and respond to a crisis situation at sea," the same source points out.
