The A’ national team is preparing to face its Algerian counterpart, on Saturday in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup in a packed stadium. All the tickets for the match were sold out in a few hours.

It is a boiling match that has apparently aroused the enthusiasm of Moroccan and Algerian supporters. In a few hours, they grabbed all the tickets for the match, leading the organizers to close the ticket offices 48 hours before the day of the match, reports Assabah.

However, the newspaper reports, many Moroccan supporters were unable to make the trip due to the closure of the borders. A situation that will lead to speculation on ticket prices, which could range between 114 DH and 495 DH, approaching the 152 and 620 DH planned for the final.

According to Fatima Naimi, spokesperson for the Arab Cup organizing committee, Saturday will see a cauldron. But all this, in compliance with health protocols to protect fans from the spread of Covid-19, she assured.

"We have deployed an exceptional system to make this tournament a success, and particular care is being taken to protect the health of supporters. We have put in place a protocol in collaboration with the Ministry of Health," Naimi said.
