Morocco Aims to Upset Spain in World Cup Round of 16 Clash

Morocco is challenging Spain today in the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar. For national coach Walid Regragui, the Atlas Lions will try to win and create a surprise.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference held on Monday, the Moroccan coach shared the atmosphere within his group on the eve of this highly anticipated confrontation by Moroccan and African supporters. The Atlas Lions are well prepared and will try to create a surprise against one of the best teams in the world, he said.
"It’s a tough game for us against one of the best teams in the world and one of the favorites to win the final," said the coach, stating that he knows "Spanish football well. Spain has been playing with the same philosophy for years, but it continues to pose problems for everyone."
Against La Roja, the Atlas Lions will have to repeat the same mental and athletic performance as against Canada, warned the Moroccan coach. "If we manage to beat Spain, it will be a nice surprise for us and for our country," he stressed.
