Morocco Aims to Triple Airport Capacity by 2040 Amid Record Passenger Growth

Habiba Laklalech, CEO of the National Airports Office (ONDA), reveals Morocco’s ambitions to boost its airport reception capacity by 2030 or even 2040.
In Morocco, air traffic is doing well. The powerful and devastating earthquake of September 8 is far from dealing it a setback. "Despite the earthquake, at the end of September, air traffic exceeded the pre-Covid level, and we expect that by the end of the year, we will achieve a real historic record of more than 25 million passengers, an increase of 3% to 4% compared to 2022," rejoices Habiba Laklalech in an interview with Médias24.
