Morocco Aims for CHAN Futsal Semi-Finals Spot Against Ghana

Buoyed by their opening victory over Angola (5-2), the Moroccan futsal team are preparing to face Ghana this Saturday (8:00 pm) in a match for qualification to the 2024 CHAN Futsal semi-finals.
After dominating Angola, Hicham Dguig’s men approach this second match with a single objective: to defeat Ghana and take the lead in Group A. A victory would mean direct qualification for the continental competition’s semi-finals.
Despite their initial defeat against Zambia (5-2), the Ghanaian Black Stars cannot be taken lightly. They will play without pressure and could create a surprise against the Moroccans. Dguig calls on his players to be vigilant and advocates an offensive game to take advantage of their technical superiority.
The national coach has expressed the importance of this match for the rest of the tournament: "The match against Ghana is decisive for the leadership of Group A. We know that the second day of the competition is important for us and for Zambia, as it means direct qualification for the semi-finals. We are already focused on the match against Ghana, I had an idea of their style of play during their match against Zambia, and I think this match will be decisive for the rest of this group."
Aware of the stakes of this match, Dguig has called on the Moroccan public to come out in force to support the Atlas Lions: "The Moroccan public is always behind its national team. I call on all supporters to come and support us on Saturday, because we will need their support to win this match and qualify for the semi-finals."
• The match is scheduled for this Saturday, April 13 at 8 pm (Moroccan time) and 10 pm in Europe (France or Belgium)
• The futsal match between Morocco and Ghana is broadcast live on the Moroccan channel Arryadia.
