Morocco Aims to Boost Exports with New Kosher Certification Partnership

Morocco is showing an interest in the "kosher" market. In this sense, a framework agreement has been signed between the Moroccan Association of Exporters (Asmex) and the European Kosher Organization.
Create an ecosystem for the production and enhancement of kosher foods. This is the scope of the framework agreement signed between the Moroccan Association of Exporters (Asmex) and the European Kosher Organization. This ecosystem will consist of a Kosher labeling infrastructure, including the implementation of a strategy for widespread access to Kosher certified production.
A national strategy for the Moroccan kosher offer will be put in place as part of this partnership. Similarly, companies will be encouraged and supported to adapt and benefit from a kosher label certifying the authenticity of their products. It is also a question of positioning Moroccan food exports on new international markets by offering them Kosher and Halal products and organizing an annual or biennial halal and kosher agenda and trade fair in Morocco. According to Asmex, this partnership will strengthen national exports.
