Morocco’s Agri-Food Exports to Spain Hit €154.4 Million in 2019

The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), in its annual report, indicated that Morocco’s agri-food exports to Spain in 2019 reached more than 154.4 million euros, or 1.68 billion dirhams.
Morocco exported more agri-food products to Spain in 2019 than it imported from this country, says the Financial Food website, which points out that Morocco is also an important trading partner in the agri-food sector. It is the fifth destination for exports, and the third country in terms of imports. Among the export products, soybean oil, live plants and live cattle stand out.
As for the exports of the agri-food sector in Spain, they reached a value of 53.18 billion euros in 2019, an increase of 5.2% compared to 2019. As for imports, they amounted to 38.96 billion euros, i.e. 1.2% more than in 2018. Thus, the balance stands at more than 14.215 billion euros, an increase of 18.2% compared to 2018.
