Morocco’s AFCON Squad Restored to 23 as CAF Approves Baadi to Replace Hamdallah

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has just given its approval allowing the Moroccan national team to replace Abderrazak Hamdallah with Abdelkarim Baadi. Thanks to this, there will be 23 Lions in Egypt to defend the Moroccan colors.
After the departure of Abderrazak Hamdallah from the selection, following a disagreement with Faycal Fajr, the national team had found itself with 22 players, one less. But the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has just authorized a change requested by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
Indeed, the FRMF had issued a request to the CAF to replace Hamdallah with the player of the "Hassania" of Agadir, Abdelkarim Baadi. This was accepted, according to Le360. "All that remains is to make the decision official," he writes.
Upon arriving in Cairo on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, the Moroccan delegation had two players who were not registered on the list of 23: Baadi but also Anas Zniti. In addition, Manuel Da Costa, who was injured after the match against Gambia, is completely healed and even took part in the last training session of the "Lions".
