Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi Expected to Recover for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations

The doctor of the Moroccan national football team, Abderrazak Hefti, is optimistic about the participation of Achraf Hakimi in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The doctor is very confident: "he will be recovered in 45 days, his injury should not deprive him of playing the AFCON in Egypt," Dr. Hefti confides.
Achraf Hakimi left the match against VfL Wolfsburg with a metatarsal fracture, leaving his supporters in doubt about his possible participation in the continental cup.
Loaned to Borussia Dortmund at the start of the season, the former Real Madrid player underwent surgery that requires a convalescence period of at least 45 days.
"Thinking about the return scares me more than the operation, I’m also a little sad," Hakimi had confided to the Spanish radio station COPE.
Moreover, the prognosis of the doctor of the Atlas Lions is mixed regarding the injuries of Youssef En-Nesyri and Abdelillah Hafidi. While En-Nesyri will be ready in 3 weeks, the chances of the Rajaoui midfielder are slim to non-existent.
