Moroccan YouTuber Sentenced to 3 Years for Human Trafficking, Defamation

Prosecuted for human trafficking, contempt of the judicial police, insults, defamation and invasion of privacy by disseminating accusations through computer systems, the YouTuber Reda Bouzidi, known by the pseudonym "Oueld Chinwiya", was sentenced by the Casablanca Criminal Court.
Reda Bouzidi alias "Oueld Chinwiya" was sentenced to three years in prison. As for the YouTuber and TikToker Fatima Ben Abbas, she was sentenced to two years in prison.
Oueld Chinwiya’s legal troubles stem from the appearance of audio recordings attributed to him that would tend to show that he was involved in a "human trafficking" case. He had initially appeared at liberty, accompanied by his mother, his brothers and another woman. They are accused of defamation, invasion of privacy, insults, threats and disturbances in a public establishment. But on November 20, he was arrested, as well as the YouTuber "Bent Abbas". The public prosecutor’s office of the Casablanca Criminal Court had ordered the incarceration of the two YouTubers in the Oukacha prison (Casablanca).
Oueld Chinwiya was accused of defamation, invasion of privacy and incitement to chaos within a security institution and human trafficking, following complaints filed against him by the Moroccan Association for Citizenship and Human Rights. "Bent Abbas" was involved in this case.
