Moroccan YouTuber Sentenced to One Year in Prison for COVID-19 Misinformation

Arrested by the National Brigade of the Judicial Police (BNPJ) and placed in custody for broadcasting, on her channel, erroneous content on the current crisis, "Mi Naima" now knows her fate.
She was ultimately sentenced to one year in prison for making this mistake on her Facebook page.
Starting from nothing, she became an overnight star of the new media. The Moroccan YouTuber Naima "Al Badaouiya", who survived thanks to the income from her videos, now knows a sad end.
In the midst of the health crisis, the woman had refused to respect the prevention rules ordered by the state of emergency to deal with covid-19.
In her video, widely shared on social networks, she had insisted that the virus did not exist, and that she would continue her life as if nothing had happened. At the same time, she had encouraged people to do the same.
