Moroccan Women's Soccer Rocked by Fresh Blackmail and Contract Fraud Scandal

Blackmail, falsification of contracts, the Ethics Commission of the FRMF has just suspended more players and officials involved in new scandals within women’s football clubs and amateur clubs. Life suspensions have been pronounced given the seriousness of certain facts.

A few months after the scandal that cost the jobs and careers of certain players and officials of several women’s football clubs, the ethics commission of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has just made new revelations just as serious as the first ones.

The coach and president of the Ahl Marbaa association of Fqih Ben Saleh, Jamal Zkiri and Abdelghani Chkibi, have been suspended for life and fined 50,000 dirhams each. They are accused of blackmailing their players, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.

The Ethics Commission also suspended, but this time for a period of two years, the general secretary of the Wifaq Amtar Tétouan Football Club, Mustapha Skiri. Two players from the club have also been suspended for one year after playing several matches with falsified licenses. The club itself has been fined 10,000 dirhams.

In addition, the general secretary of the Fès Meknès Regional League, Oussama El Idrissi, was suspended for 6 months and fined 15,000 dirhams for defaming on Facebook the regional trainer of referees, Aziz Mahraji. The president and general secretary of Wydad Kelaat Sraghna were also suspended for a period of 4 months, including two firm, and a fine of 15,000 dirhams each, for having published false allegations on Facebook about the members of the central refereeing department of the FRMF.

For also having undermined the credibility of the legal commissions of the FRMF, the president of the Association of Friends of Martil de Futsal, Rachid Hamdane, was suspended for a period of 4 months, including two firm, and a fine of 10,000 dirhams.
