Moroccan Woman Missing for a Week After Mysterious Journey from Zagora to Marrakech

Salama Rmili, a young Moroccan woman living with her parents in the province of Zagora, has been missing for a week. Her family is in shock.

The young woman disappeared on Saturday, April 20, the date on which she left her parents’ home without giving any details about her destination, her father confides to the site Al3omk, adding that in the afternoon of that Saturday, the missing person informed by message from her mobile phone that she was in Ouarzazate. In a second message sent around 6 p.m., she reassured her parents that she had arrived in Marrakech.

Since then, radio silence. The young woman has not given any more signs of life. Salama’s father says he did not receive any other messages or phone calls from his daughter before realizing that her phone was offline, making it impossible to contact her. The father of the missing person explains that she returned to the family home in Zagora three years ago, at the end of her university studies in law in Marrakech.

According to Salama’s father, his daughter was leading a normal life and did not have any psychological or family problems. The family is still in shock after the disappearance of their daughter. The father said he had already informed the Royal Gendarmerie of Tamegroute as well as the police in Marrakech of her disappearance. An appeal for witnesses has been launched to try to find the young woman.
