Moroccan Winger Idrissi Fights for Future at Sevilla FC Amid Tough Competition

Moroccan international, Oussama Idrissi, is playing his future at Sevilla FC this season. The winger must prove to Lopetegui and the technical staff that he is indispensable for the Spanish club if he hopes to keep his position. Loaned to Ajax last year, he failed to convince the Dutch team to benefit from a contract.
Oussama Idrissi finds himself in a delicate situation at Seville. This season, he must review his performances and show the coach, the technical staff and the sports management of Sevilla FC that he is the man of the situation and the winger the Spanish club needs to win victories. It is true that proving himself in Seville as a left winger is not an easy task, with the presence of big names like Ocampos or Papu Gómez.

The Moroccan international arrived in Seville in October 2020 from AZ Alkmaar for 12 million euros. The Spanish club then decided to loan him to Ajax for the rest of the year 2020 and is now considering putting him back on the market for a transfer. The Spanish club is ready to consider offers for a loan with a purchase option for an amount greater than 12 million euros.
In the meantime, Oussama Idrissi could change the minds of the club’s management if he improves his performance during training sessions and matches. His contract with Seville runs until June 30, 2025.
