Sevilla FC Omits Moroccan Winger Idrissi from Champions League Squad

Sevilla FC did not include Oussama Idrissi on the A list of players selected to participate in the Champions League. According to UEFA, eight of the twenty-five authorized players must be "locally trained".
Unable to comply with the UEFA rule, Sevilla FC placed 22 players on the list and did not choose the Moroccan international to participate in this European competition. Sevilla FC will play their opening match on Tuesday, September 14 against Red Bull Salzburg without the Moroccan.
After his loan period at Ajax Amsterdam, the Atlas Lion is struggling to find his place within the Andalusian club. Since his return, he has played ten games with Seville: three in the league, three in the Champions League and four in the Copa del Rey.
