Moroccan Wedding Planners Adapt to COVID-19 Challenges

While their activity has been on hold since March due to the health crisis related to Covid-19, many wedding organizers (neggafas) are keeping busy in other ways.
Neggafas are responsible for dressing the bride and groom but have no visibility on the resumption of their activity in these times of Covid-19. Faced with this technical unemployment, some of them are turning to advertising new clothing creations, while others prefer to provide training to staff.
This is the case of the neggafa Majda Dar Benjelloun. She is investing in advertising her new creations in terms of bridal wear, reports the MAP. She is also doing photoshoot sessions. She has also partnered with television channels to dress the presenters. For her, it is a question of targeting new clients and taking advantage of this period of inactivity to prepare for the relaunch.
As for the neggaffa Tadlaouia, she is using this period of inactivity to provide distance training via webinars to industry staff. Compliance with social distancing, one of the restrictive measures enacted to curb the spread of the coronavirus, is required. The training focuses on the organization, care and beautification of the bride. In addition to the training, Tadlaouia is advertising her new caftan collections on social networks. Enough, she hopes, to arouse the interest of future brides.
