Moroccan VAR Referee Selected for Tokyo Olympic Football Tournament

Moroccan international referee Adil Zourak is on the selective list of 99 referees to officiate the matches of the football tournament as part of the 2020 Olympic Games.
The Moroccan has been selected in the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) category by the FIFA Referees Committee alongside 98 others to officiate during the 2020 summer games scheduled from July 23 to August 08, 2021.
Coming from 51 countries around the world, there are 25 center referees, 50 assistant referees, 20 VAR referees and 4 support referees.
The women’s Olympic tournament starts on July 21 with the match Great Britain-Chile. The men’s tournament, for its part, begins on July 22 with the match Spain-Egypt.
