Moroccan Universities Open Registration for "3-Minute Thesis" Competition

Registrations have been launched for the international French-speaking competition "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" (MT180). They are scheduled for the 2021 edition until February 7 next.
This competition, organized by the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST) and the Mohammed V University of Rabat, is accessible to the 12 Moroccan public universities, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and the International University of Rabat. Registrations will be made online on a form available on the website of the candidate’s home university, it is indicated.
According to the organizers, the MT 180 aims to ensure a quality scientific succession, the training of young researchers in communication and science mediation, the facilitation of the professional integration of doctoral students or the development of their exchanges with researchers from other disciplines and other countries.
This competition is exclusively reserved for doctoral students from all disciplines (fundamental sciences, engineering sciences, health sciences, humanities and social sciences, etc.). The selected candidates present their theses in 3 minutes in front of a lay and diverse audience. Thanks to this competition, the participants learn to perfect their skills and competencies in scientific communication, to express themselves in simple, clear, concise and convincing terms about their research work.
The candidates are pre-selected within their university and the first two winners will be designated to participate in the national final of the competition scheduled for June 2021. The winner of the national final will be able to represent the country in the international final of the competition scheduled for September 2021 in France.
