Moroccan U20 Goalkeeper Rayane Falchou Hospitalized After Car Accident in Belgium
Moroccan international Rayane Falchou, who is the reserve goalkeeper at KV Mechelen (Belgium), was the victim of a traffic accident on Wednesday evening. His life is not in danger, according to a statement from the club.
The 18-year-old Moroccan player was taken to the hospital in Antwerp where he underwent surgery, report De Telegraaf and Gazet van Antwerpen. While wishing Falchou a speedy recovery, the club emphasizes that he was not driving the car.
A member of the Moroccan U20 team, Rayane Falchou has not yet had the career he hoped for. As a reserve goalkeeper, he had already played 10 matches for the Jong KV Mechelen U23 team. He has also been on the bench many times as the third goalkeeper of the first team.
