The severe storms that hit Catalonia on Tuesday and Wednesday have forced the authorities to take exceptional measures. Many Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) have been forced to turn back.
Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) crossing the region via the A7 to return to Morocco have faced unexpected difficulties. Due to the DANA, some were denied access to certain roads and were asked to turn back.
The traffic restrictions put in place by the Generalitat aim to ensure the safety of users in the face of the risk of flooding and landslides. The MREs who were on the roads concerned had to modify their plans and find alternative routes or postpone their trip.
