Moroccan Teen Singer Leïla Latif to Debut on ’The Voice Kids France’

Leïla Latif, alias "Lilou songs" on social networks, is the new Moroccan voice to discover in the 9th season of the French TV show The Voice Kids, on Tuesday, August 1st.
Leïla Latif’s first blind auditions will be broadcast on TF1 on Tuesday, August 1st. It was on her Instagram page that she announced her participation in the 9th season of the talent show and also promised that she "has a nice surprise, a song from another universe" for her fans. The song she will perform to seduce the jury composed of Kendji Girac, Nolwenn Leroy, Slimane and Patrick Fiori will therefore be revealed to the public. A piece that will certainly be "related to her origins and her culture".
"I appreciate various styles of music. Each one has its charm and characteristics. But I also have a preference for pop, soul and Arab music, which are particularly close to my heart," says the 14-year-old Casablanca native. She has already done several covers of songs, including "Parole Paroles" by Dalida, "Temma" by her compatriot Oum, or "Fallin’" by Alicia Keys. Her sources of inspiration are: Calogero, Majda El Roumi, Oum Kalthoum or Amy Winehouse.
