Moroccan Teen Returns Home After Successful Surgery in Spanish Hospital

A young Moroccan, Yassine, 17 years old, has returned to his country after successfully undergoing a second surgical operation. He is one of the beneficiaries of the "Journey to Life" program of the Terre des Hommes Foundation.
Yassine was operated on last October at the Malaga Mother and Child Hospital. This is the second time he has been operated on at this center, after a first intervention in 2014, explains the Terre des Hommes Foundation in a note.
In 2002, a collaboration agreement was signed between the two institutions to allow the Foundation to intervene in this hospital for the benefit of minors from countries that do not have resources.
Since 1994, the Foundation has been transferring children from Togo, Benin, Mauritania, Senegal, Morocco, Mali and Conakry Guinea to Spain to be operated on.
